Reinforced 15mm rod base for Betz top stage VB-6

• beefed up part that replaces the original 15mm rod base
• made to reduce vibrations

15mm rods are much stronger than the original mounting base. So when there are vibrations transfered to the Volt there is a good chance that the source is in the old lightweight bracket. We made some tests how much the rods bend with the original bracket compared to the cam-jam reinfocred VB-6 bracket.

This is our test setup: 2.5kg / 5 lbs weight is put on the 15mm rod, the dail gauge shows the deflection under load.

Original rod base deflection: 0.55 mm

CAM-JAM VB-6 reinforced base deflection: 0.17 mm  that means it is 3x stronger
